Jesamine Kelly
Job title: Principal
Jesamine took up the post of Principal in November 2021, having worked in senior management in a range of roles in further education in England. She was educated on the Island, enjoying a year on the Foundation Art and Design programme at UCM. Jesamine is passionate about lifelong learning and, in addition to competing a Masters in Sequential Design and a PGCE, more recently she has completed a Level 5 apprenticeship in Leadership and Management and a Masters in Professional Practice in Education.

Joanne Richardson
Job title: Vice Principal
Jo supports UCM lecturing staff to ensure we provide a high-quality learning experience for students, which meets the requirements of our qualification awarding associations. She also engages with employers, schools and parents to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of students and employers. Jo is a Chartered Manager with an MBA, BSc, Cert ED and FHEA qualifications.

Geoff Chatwood
Job title: Vice Principal
Geoff's is responsible for the campuses, ensuring students, staff and visitors safety, and creating learning environments which support the best student outcomes. He has worked in the private and public sectors here and in the UK, and enjoyed the challenge of moving from the Construction industry into Education.
"Developing new environments always involves dealing with a cross-section of students or staff or both, which can be challenging but always rewarding. The satisfaction of delivering the project, whether it is building or IT-related, is addictive."
Pamela Berry
Job title: Head of Learning Development and Partnerships
Pamela’s role includes raising our profile through the marketing strategy, supporting our staff through their continued professional development and overseeing our adult learning provision. She has worked in both public and private sector in the Isle of Man and overseas. Pamela has a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc in Human Resource Management and ILM L7 Certificate in Executive Coaching.

Rom Kesa
Job title: Head of Internal Operations
Rom joined UCM in August 2020 as Head of Internal Operations, overseeing the Finance, MIS and Exam departments. He also has overall responsibility for GDPR at UCM. During University Rom fell in love with the Hospitality industry, which led him to the Isle of Man. Since then he has worked for a number of large hotels at Senior Management level, including opening an award-winning hotel in Douglas, where the hotel won the Isle of Man Awards for Excellence 'New Business/Innovation' and he was a finalist for the 'Business Person of the Year' award.
"Whilst I am not involved in the daily delivery of lectures, I know I am playing an important part in the success of our staff and students, and it's amazing to hear the incredible achievements of our students and former students."
Our Senior Leadership Team works closely with our Board of Governors.
